US Auto Parts Stocks Increase Market Cap by 860 Billion Won in One Day

BorgWarner Inc. (NYSE: BWA) saw its shares climb 5.3% to close at $55 on the New York Stock Exchange, reflecting strong investor demand. Trading volume reached approximately 1.49 million shares, boosting its market capitalization by about $637 million (roughly 860 billion KRW) to around $11.4 billion in a single day.

At the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 in India, BorgWarner recently showcased its electric commercial vehicles, lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery systems for buses and e-mobility solutions, strengthening its push into the Indian electrification market. It is also expanding its electrification and high-efficiency powertrain orders by supplying variable valve timing technology for hybrid and gasoline engines to a major East Asian automaker.

Headquartered in Auburn Hills, Michigan, BorgWarner is a global automotive supplier that spans turbochargers for internal combustion engines to motors, inverters and battery systems for electric vehicles. Since acquiring Delphi Technologies, the company has shifted its portfolio from an internal combustion focus toward electric and hybrid solutions, positioning itself for reevaluation as a key beneficiary of the electrification trend.
