In its January 20 preliminary 2025 results, IAMGOLD reported annual gold production of 765,000 ounces, within its guidance range, and outlined a 2026 growth strategy targeting 720,000–820,000 ounces of production with an emphasis on expanding the Côté Gold project ().

In mid-March, Centiva Capital disclosed that it had acquired a new stake in IAG during the previous quarter, raising expectations for further institutional inflows ().

Headquartered in Toronto, IAMGOLD is a mid-tier producer operating the Côté Gold and Westwood mines in Canada and the Essakane mine in Burkina Faso, establishing production hubs in North America and West Africa ().

Notably, Côté Gold is a large-scale project that reached full operational capacity in 2025 and is regarded as a core asset expected to drive future production growth and enhance cash-flow generation ().
