Reddit has continued to improve its financial results, posting quarterly profitability in 2025 thanks to expanded advertising and data‐licensing operations, and turning to positive earnings per share in the third quarter of 2025. Since its 2024 IPO, the stock has traded well above the $34 offering price, with investors citing exposure to social media and AI data as key drivers.

Founded in 2005 as an online community platform, Reddit went public on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker RDDT in March 2024, securing an implied company valuation of about $6.5 billion (KRW 8 trillion). Among the leadership team, CTO Christopher Slo and COO Jennifer Wong—originally the lead developer and head of business strategy—are regarded as pivotal figures guiding the company’s technology roadmap and monetization strategy post-IPO.
