'Reddit' Executives Engage in Mixed Stock Transactions: Options Exercise, Share Sales, and Purchases

U.S.-based online community platform Reddit, Inc. (NYSE: RDDT) disclosed in a March filing that Sara E. Farrell increased her stake by acquiring approximately 10,000 additional Class A common shares through a partnership—about $1.39 million, or roughly KRW 2 billion at an exchange rate of KRW 1,470 per dollar. In the same month, Chief Technology Officer Christopher Brian Slowe and Chief Operating Officer Jennifer L. Wong exercised stock options and sold part of their holdings, raising about $1.55 million (approximately KRW 2 billion) and $5.6 million (around KRW 8 billion), respectively. After the sale, COO Wong still holds roughly 1.12 million shares, valued at about $158 million (KRW 230 billion). CTO Slowe, after restructuring his direct and indirect holdings—including a non-cash transfer to a family trust—now owns around 200,000 shares, worth approximately $27.4 million (KRW 40 billion).

Recently, Jefferies maintained its Buy rating on Reddit while lowering its price target from $285 to $250, naming the stock a top pick. Earlier this year, Deutsche Bank also initiated coverage with a Buy rating and a $285 target, alongside analyses from other leading global firms.

Reddit, a major online community platform operating in the U.S. and internationally, went public on the New York Stock Exchange in March 2024 under the ticker RDDT. Co-founder and CEO Steve Huffman, along with CTO Slowe and COO Wong, continue to hold substantial equity stakes in the company post-IPO.
