Coherent Corp (NASDAQ: COHR) closed at $308.30 on the New York Stock Exchange yesterday, up 8.55%. Its market capitalization jumped to approximately $57.8 billion (about 75 trillion Korean won), with a single-day increase of roughly $5.4 billion (around 7 trillion won). Trading volume reached 4.29 million shares, reflecting strong investor demand.
Recently, NVIDIA cemented a close partnership with Coherent by making a $2 billion strategic investment and signing a multi-year agreement for the long-term supply of optical components for next-generation AI data centers. Following this announcement, Coherent has emerged as a key beneficiary of the expanding AI and data-center infrastructure market, maintaining strong stock momentum.
