'Arista Networks' CEO Sells $17 Million Stake Amid Executive Stock Disposals

Jayshree Ullal, CEO of U.S. network equipment maker Arista Networks, Inc. (ANET), sold more than 110,000 shares of company stock in the open market via a trust on April 13, generating roughly $16.9 million in cash (about KRW 23 billion). Earlier, President and CTO Kenneth Duda exercised stock options on March 17 and sold stakes worth several billions of Korean won from his personal and children’s trust and foundation accounts, and on April 1, Charles Giancarlo disposed of approximately $1 million (around KRW 1 billion) through a family trust. Despite these transactions, each executive still retains a significant indirect holding through their respective trusts and other vehicles.

On April 6, Arista announced that its eXtra-dense Pluggable Optics (XPO) ecosystem for AI data centers has grown to more than 100 partners. The company also said it will release its first-quarter fiscal 2026 results on May 5 after the U.S. market close.

Arista Networks is a U.S. IT firm that supplies high-performance Ethernet switches and network operating systems to major cloud providers and enterprise data centers, steadily expanding its presence in the AI and cloud infrastructure networking market. Since taking the helm in 2008, CEO Ullal has grown Arista’s share in the data center switching segment, and the company has maintained its momentum amid rising network investment for AI workloads.
