AI Power Semiconductor Beneficiaries: Executives Sell $100 Million in Shares in One Month

From April 8 through May 6, three vice presidents overseeing Legal; Sales & Marketing; and Global Operations at Monolithic Power Systems Inc. (MPWR) executed Rule 10b5-1 trading plans to sell shares in stages. They disposed of roughly 70,000 shares at prices between $1,266 and $1,661 per share, netting approximately $100 million (₩130–140 billion). Even after these sales, each executive still retains several hundred thousand shares, indicating they continue to hold a significant economic stake in the company.

On April 30, Monolithic Power Systems reported first-quarter 2026 results that beat market expectations, posting non-GAAP earnings of $5.10 per share on about $840 million in revenue. The stock subsequently rallied to a 52-week high near $1,660 in early May and currently trades around $1,600.
