Silicon Valley IoT Platform Executives Sell Hundreds of Millions in Shares and Receive RSU Compensation

Samsara Inc. (NYSE: IOT) CEO Sanjit Biswas sold approximately 290,000 Class A common shares on the open market between April 28 and 30 under a prearranged SEC Rule 10b5-1 trading plan via family trusts, raising about $8.6–8.8 million (roughly 11 billion Korean won). After the sale, he still holds around 700,000 shares. During the same period, CTO John Bicket sold about 200,000 Class A shares through a trust under a similar preplanned arrangement, generating approximately $5.9 million (around 8 billion won), and continues to indirectly hold several hundred thousand shares. Meanwhile, CFO Dominic Phillips received over 460,000 restricted stock units (RSUs) in two grants on April 2 and May 9, with a combined value near $8.46 million (about 11 billion won). His total equity stake is valued at roughly $57.7 million (around 75 billion won), according to SEC filings.

On May 20, the company announced four new product updates designed to improve efficiency for logistics and fleet operations customers, further strengthening its software offerings. In March, Samsara reported its fiscal 2026 fourth-quarter and full-year results, highlighting continued growth in its Connected Operations Platform and unveiling a new solution for fleet compliance.

Headquartered in San Francisco, Samsara Inc. provides a cloud-based Connected Operations Platform that collects and analyzes IoT data from industrial environments—including vehicle telematics, video-based safety systems, and field equipment monitoring across logistics, manufacturing, and construction sectors.
